The popularizer for the western world, he is the first pitch curve ball thrown by awakened ones. He taught the the full truth, that we’re all ‘IT’, an at first difficult and prima facie implausible idea to wrap around one’s head intellectually, and much more difficult to get experientially. This video is a fairly good and quick summation of Buddhism accurately presented (for an example of a misrepresentation — and the great majority of Buddhists misunderstand (given Buddhism’s very design) –, this popular monk on youtube outlines a common misinterpretation of rebirth, separate reincarnation, which is convoluted and religious…and wrong).
Watts’ aim was to at once: a) teach effectively and convincingly, and b) appear as personally doubtable as reasonably possible. He did a very good job at both. For the first, he was a clear and fresh writer, and a well spoken and entertaining speaker. For the second, he was/did all of the following: an alcoholic, womanizer, married three times, seven children, openly claimed to be a mere ‘spiritual entertainer’, he even gave talks noticeably intoxicated towards the end of his life, he was a priest for awhile, he often taught from a cold and serious air, he reportedly did LSD, DMT, etc. (you can’t authentically awaken with drugs), in his autobiography he tries to sound as narcissistic as he can, he brags about always having been a very ‘strange’ person.
In other words, he was a bodhisattva…and, if you think about it, why wouldn’t the popularizer attempt to be a great bodhisattva? He taught the full koan, that we’re all, as he calls it, IT: representation in Schopenhauer’s World as Will and Representation, where will = the thing in itself (from Kant) and representation = consciousness. Will is a strange choice of words in my mind, while understandable; I think energy is probably better. Reality is interconnected energy going on of itself. Reality just is. According to awakened ones, all of us — and we’re actually all one and the same — are Reality/God/Representation/Spirit/IT: emptiness dancing.
Watts taught everything from Mahayana Buddhism to Zen to Taosim to meditation to basic wisdom for living; he covered everything that would make sense to cover. But his central aim was to cram into his followers heads that they are God, everything, and that they are nothing (note the design of this video), emptiness. So, on the one hand you have Watts, an alcoholic self-claimed mere ‘entertainer’, arguing to most people semi-plausibly at best that we are all God, something way outside mainstream Buddhist thought. On the other, he ambiguously argues that we’re all really nothing…but not quite the nothingness Hindus understand. He seems to clearly be talking about annihilation, but he does so with a Hindu spin, also claiming at the end that nothingness is, “truly speaking what we want to talk about when we want to talk about the spiritual,” and that it’s, “where the secret lies, and obviously the secret always lies in the place you never think of looking for it.” This is an attempt to stop/open peoples’ minds, to get them to awaken to whatever extent. The former and latter teachings work together as a kind of koan, like What is your original face before you were born? which are designed to stop the mind. Watts basically is a koan, which is perhaps why he’s rather aptly named Alan Watts (as in What?), and it’s why this is mentioned at the tail end of Watts’ “supporters and critics” section on wikipedia:
“He did, however, have his supporters in the Zen community, including Shunryu Suzuki, the founder of the San Francisco Zen Center. As David Chadwick recounted in his biography of Suzuki, when a student of Suzuki’s disparaged Watts by saying “we used to think he was profound until we found the real thing”, Suzuki “fumed with a sudden intensity”, saying, “You completely miss the point about Alan Watts! You should notice what he has done. He is a great bodhisattva.”
Take a famous koan like What is the sound of one hand clapping? If all of this is right, then we are Awake Nothingness. Do you see?
Buddhism/Hinduism/Taosim syncretism:
Buddhism = the negatively stated half of the koan
Hinduism = the positively stated half of the koan
(The full koan is that we’re all IT. This is how all simple truths work: up implies down, 5 implies -5, and so on. So, Buddhism is the down, Hinduism the up.)
Taosim = the mind post-awakening; the liberated mind
Buddhism teaches that there is no real self, we’re not the ego, that we’re all basically nothing, that our fundamental nature is emptiness. Hinduism teaches that we’re all the Brahman, the Godhead, playing hide and seek with itself forever and ever. Taosim outlines what liberation looks like, and offers a practical guide for achieving it.
Exactly like Buddhism, and in many of the same ways, Christianity is well designed to relieve dukkha for Himself, created by an awakened one. According to Christianity we’re all equal; we all go to heaven when we die; “The kingdom of heaven is within you”: of course heaven is egoless; Jesus speaks like a fully awakened one; Jesus claimed to be the son of God, which wasn’t really a ‘lie’ or falsehood; he’s supposed to come again, and where is he? He’s everywhere, everyone; and on and on within Christianity. The bible is basically perfect (…I assume). (Of course, Jesus and Buddha are storybook figures. Probably real people in history, but storybook figures as we know them.) All of the major religions are really about the same thing: oneness.
1999 (9 = finality/judgment)
Music
The Beatles
Magical Mystery Tour: “The soundtrack was far more favourably received by critics than the film. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for best album in 1968[18] and reached number 1 in the US for eight weeks. The original review by Rolling Stone consisted of a one-sentence quote from John Lennon: “There are only about 100 people in the world who understand our music.”
With songs like Tomorrow Never Knows and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and their reported and stated LSD use (1966-1967), everyone is left to assume their lyrics are nothing out of the ordinary, like any other band, mostly about love and occasionally inspired by their experiences with LSD. Actually, though, as Lennon was wanting to suggest for the fun of it with the quote above, almost no one in the world (yet) truly understands their music. LSD gave them an excuse to be so lyrically odd at times, and they surely also wanted to encourage LSD use around the world.
Revolver ’66
‘Paul is dead’ myth, all of it their doing. The rumor was started in September of 1969, the very same month their last recorded album Abbey Road was released. The album is called revolver, and it is the first one they fully try to get the message across. One could easily argue Rubber Soul and even Help! are designed to be preliminary. One could even argue their first several albums were preliminary, being entirely composed of love songs. In Christianity, six represents the weakness of man, manifestation of sin, evil.
Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby released as double A-side single; take special note of Yellow Submarine lyrically, which they of course when asked said it is a straightforward song containing no secret meanings or codes.
“Initially reluctant to try LSD, McCartney eventually did so in late 1966, and took his second “acid trip” in March 1967, with Lennon, after a Sgt. Pepper studio session.”
So, unlike the other three members, McCartney apparently didn’t try LSD until after the album was made, yet these were his songs (the point to suggest he ‘died’/awakened, while the other members used LSD):
Eleanor Rigby “. . . picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been; lives in a dream.”
Here, There, Everywhere obvious
Yellow Submarine obvious
Good Day Sunshine “I feel good in a special way.”
For No One the ego is illusory
Got to Get You into My Life precedes Tomorrow Never Knows, which is the closing track and perfect lyrically to induce awakening (taken from the Tibetan Book of the Dead).
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band ’67
Complementary twin albums, The Beatles spent significantly more time in the studio recording both of these than anything else they did, pouring something like two hundred hours into the studio. 7 = perfection.
Notable songs: their masterpiece A Day in the Life to close Sgt Pepper, I Am the Walrus for Magical Mystery.
The album cover is pure white.
8 = new birth, new beginnings, the beginning of a new cycle of seven
Notable songs: Dear Prudence, Mother Nature’s Son, Revolution, Glass Onion.
Yellow Submarine ’69
The Film; its plot: Pepperland (remember, Sgt Pepper) represents heaven, the Yellow Submarine is their vehicle back to Pepperland, they champion TM.
Abbey Road ’69
9 = finality, perfection, judgment.
The album art hints at the ‘Paul is dead’ myth. They apparently had significant internal problems, played separately, walked out during recording sessions, fought…yet Abbey Road manages to somehow be their most tightly and cohesively written and played album. Much like…much…within The Beatles, I’m fairly sure the stories about their fighting are fake. Let it Be (film) can be torrented.
Their unannounced rooftop concert
Notable songs: Because, The End.
(Let it Be was their last released album, but Abbey Road their last recorded.)
Let it Be ’70
7 = completeness, perfection
Paul’s ‘Jesus statement’, his closing statement as a Beatle
Lennon’s closing statement as a Beatle (Jai Guru Deva OM – TM)
Post-Breakup
Paul Mccartney:
Discography. McCartney (’70) was his debut as a solo artist, McCartney II (’80); Ram‘s album art has devil symbolism. His hit song from McCartney II Coming Up. This song apparently inspired Lennon to record again after taking a five year break dedicating most of his time to his son.
His second band was called Wings.
John Lennon:
John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (’70) was his debut, with songs like God: he mentions Elvis, Zimmerman (Bob Dylan’s real last name), The Beatles, Kennedy (O’Reilly very recently came out with Killing Kennedy), Hitler (was the holocaust faked? or at least greatly exaggerated?). He had many songs like Insant Karma, Give Peace a Chance; his last live performance: Imagine in ’75: he yells, “he’s a dreamer!” off mic.
After the five year break with his wife and son, in 1980 he comes out with Double Fantasy, released three weeks before his death. Milk and Honey, recorded during the same sessions as Double Fantasy, released posthumously; look at the titles and composers, seemingly a conversation about his impending death. His interview, one of the bonus tracks, the very day he was murdered. Lyrics to the first track. He happens to give very lengthy interviews, going over nearly every song The Beatles had done, just in the nick of time prior to his death. This photo was taken the day he was shot.
Mark David Chapman; interview. A photo happened to be taken of John Lennon signing his autograph? He was talking to a fan named Jude the afternoon prior? He encountered Lennon’s son the afternoon prior, singing Lennon’s Beautiful Boy? He wears Lennon-esque glasses and just seems really, really designed. Larry King, who is connected, interviews him.
Lennon seems to represent Jesus.
George Harrison:
All Things Must Pass (’70)
Harrison predominantly wrote songs like Isn’t it a Pity? and My Sweet Lord.
Misc
“. . . more popular than Jesus” – Lennon
“The fact that an actual person named Eleanor Rigby is buried St.Peter Church Cemetery, in Liverpool’s Woolton, yards from where John Lennon and Paul McCartney met for the first time, is a bizarre co-incidence. Also bizarrely, the real Eleanor Rigby lived a lonely life similar to that of the person in the song.” (There are a number of clearly made up things like this.)
Across the Universe (2007)
Hey Jude as in, “hey you.”
Really, The Beatles are perfect.
Radiohead
Intentional coding by Radiohead
They’ve mirrored The Beatles album by album. The Bends = Rubber Soul; Ok Computer = Revolver; Kid A = Sgt Pepper; Amnesiac = Magical Mystery; Hail to the Thief = White Album; In Rainbows = Abbey Road; The King of Limbs = Let it Be). Both bands had/have top producers: George Martin and Nigel Godrich.
Ok Computer and In Rainbows were their 10101010 albums. Revolver and Abbey Road were The Beatles’ ‘Paul is Dead’ albums.
“The meaning behind all of this is right in front of our faces, we’re just overlooking it. [Thom] has been expecting an article much like this one for a couple of years, as have I. But I’m willing to wager he’ll have fun waiting a few more. On the other hand, it seems to annoy him that no one ‘gets it’ yet, given the mountain of clues.”
I think Radiohead is supposed to be the modern day Beatles, Thom Yorke Paul McCartney’s ‘resurrection’.
(’94) Anyone Can Play Guitar: destiny; “I wanna be in a band when I get to heaven” – the plan is to realize heaven on earth; “. . . grow my hair; I am Jim Morrison.”
(’95) The Bends: “I wish it was the 60s, I wish we could be happy, I wish, I wish, I wish that something would happen.”
(’97) Airbag (lyrics): Paul died in a car crash according to the Paul is Dead myth. This track starts off the most acclaimed album of the last two decades.
(’97) Lucky: “The head of state has called to me by name.”
Pablo Honey: You
The Bends: Planet Telex, Nice Dream, Street Spirit
Ok Computer: album art has a plane on the right side, and there appears to be a 9 in the middle and an 11 in the top right.
Kid A: Motion Picture Soundtrack (lyrics)
Amnesiac: Pyramid Song (lyrics): what I think is their best song (Radiohead also) is called Pyramid Song (illuminati)
Hail to the Thief (no especially notable tracks)
In Rainbows: Reckoner, the seventh track on In Rainbows, released on 10/10/07. “Dedicated to all human beings.” At the golden ratio of In Rainbows, which occurs two minutes and forty nine seconds into Reckoner, the background vocals can be heard singing “In Rainbows.”; Jigsaw Falling Into Place (stillness); Videotape “When I’m at the pearly gates, this will be on my videotape.”
The King of Limbs: Separator, Bloom, Lotus Flower
New songs: The Daily Mail (lyrics); Cut a Hole is explicitly about stream entry.
(They should have new material out some point soon.)
Thom Yorke’s solo album The Eraser: Analyse (looks at audience), The Clock; his side project Atoms for Peace.
Unbelievable Truth was Yorke’s brother’s band.
Bob Dylan
Mysterious motorcycle accident in ’66 (year Paul ‘dies’); the closing track to his latest album Tempest, released 9/11/12, is called Roll on John; Love and Theft was released 9/11/01; “deal with chief of commander . . . on this earth and the world we can’t see.”; a “born-again Christian”; a “prophet”; “the answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind”
Pink Floyd
“After Barrett’s departure, Waters became their primary songwriter and lyricist. With Waters, Mason, Wright and Gilmour, Pink Floyd achieved critical and commercial success with the concept albums The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here(1975), Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979).”
Those albums refer to it fairly well. Kevin Spacey’s character asks Ricky Fitts with excitement in American Beauty, “You listen to Pink Floyd?” to which Ricky responds, “I listen to a lot of music.”
Dark Side and Wizord of Oz possible purposeful synchronization: Dark Side album cover: there’s a triangle (illuminati symbol) with a rainbow (Over the Rainbow).
Led Zeppelin
Stairway to Heaven (“When one is all and all is one”) has plausible coding (Pink Floyd did this; The Beatles also did this in Revolution 9 to further their ‘Paul is dead’ myth). Houses of the Holy follows their fourth album, Led Zeppelin IV (Stairway to Heaven). They’re named Led Zeppelin.
The Doors
“The band took its name from Aldous Huxley‘s book The Doors of Perception,[3] the title of which was a reference to a William Blake quotation: “If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite.”
“All three musicians shared a common interest in the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi‘s meditation practices at the time, attending scheduled classes, but Morrison was not involved in this series of classes, claiming later that he “did not meditate”[citation needed].”
TM
Velvet Underground
Managed by Andy Warhol: hanging out with Lennon and Yoko Ono; Bowie’s song; leading figure in pop art (Lennon, Michael Jackson, Elvis); thinks eating a hamburger is art; in Men in Black III
David Bowie
Space Oddity: “The stars look very different today” and points at the audience; interview; Labyrinth
Jimi Hendrix
(Interview; large posthumous discography like Tupac); Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse all (apparently?) died at 27. 7.
The Who
“Who Are You?” The Seeker, in American Beauty: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Timothy Leary (illuminati connection)
Queen
Bohemian Rhapsody; Freddie Mercury
R.E.M.
Discography (the most recent releases’ titles)
Their songs It’s the End of the World as We Know It, Losing My Religion, Man on the Moon
Named R.E.M.
The Pixies
Album called Doolittle with singles Here Comes Your Man and Monkey Gone to Heaven
With songs like Hey and Where is My Mind?
Joy Division
Renamed themselves New Order (New World Order?) following the suicide of their lead singer.
U2
Some of this post is okay; opened with Space Oddity every concert of their recent 360 tour; named U2

It’s All in Your Mind and We Live Again; he’s a scientologist (scientology, like most religions, is really about oneness).
The White Stripes
Seven Nation Army: triangles, seven (notes in the main riff)
Metal
One by Metallica; acclaimed metal album released 9/11/01 with a very interesting title/cover/release date combination.
(A lot of metal is ‘satanic’.)
The four big grunge bands of the 90s
Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden
John Coltrane
Became interested in Hinduism and Buddhism in the 60s; his music became increasingly spiritual (A Love Supreme); Pharoah Sanders’ album Karma (he played a lot with Coltrane).
Tupac
Cracked article; another article; video; large posthumous discography; he was supposedly killed because he ‘turned against them’, like Michael Jackson.
The pop stars and rappers of today are very connected to the illuminati, increasingly lately*.
(I assume every famous/highly mainstream-acclaimed band/artist from what I’ve so far gathered. Coldplay to Muse to Katy Perry. It’s the entire industry, though of course many bands are more discernible than others. The Rolling Stones for instance have to be part of it, but I can’t find any really strong indicators.)
Illuminati
The Number 23 from this site. The site might be fake (I don’t think it is), but its poor construction and strangeness is consistent with its legitimacy.

Star Wars: When Luke Skywalker is in the trench during his bombing run, the first number you see on the targeting computer is 23. The next scene that shows the computer shows the number 32. Luke Skywalker is in Red 5. Red 2 and Red 3 start the bomb runs at 23 degrees.
R2-D2 and C-3PO: R2+C3=RC (Rosy Cross, Rosicrucian) and 23.
The cell block where Princess Leia was held on the Death Star was AA-23 on Level 5.
Lost (TV Series): The sum of both parts of the plane’s flight number (Oceanic Flight 815, 8+15 =23). * Number of the floor Hurley stayed on at a Sydney hotel. * Number of the gate the plane took off from. * Jack’s seat number on the plane was 23A. * Rose and Bernard were sitting next to Jack in row 23, too. * The reward for turning in Kate was $23,000 * The morning of their departure from Sydney, Walt (who is a “very special boy”) woke Michael up at 5:23 A.M. * The temperature in Hurley’s rental car when it died. *
Hurley: (mumbling numbers) “15, 16, 23, 42, 4…”
Kate: (to Hurley) “You say something?”
Hurley: “No”
Kate: “I thought I heard; 23”
Hurley: “Does that mean something to you?”
Kate: What?”
Hurley: “That number, 23?”
Kate: (pause) “The guy who called the Feds on me back in Australia did it for a $23,000 reward.
(pause) It mean something to you?”
Hurley: “No…just a number” —- (Hurley was just saying this; it was the opposite of “just a number” to Hurley)
In The Big Lebowski, the main characters deliberately use only lane 23 at the bowling alley. (Recall the the 9/11 check followed by Bush talking about Iraq.)
In the Beatles film Yellow Submarine, The Butterfly Stomper, who destroys all things of beauty, wears a shirt with the number 23. The first song on Side A of the Beatles first Album took 23 takes to record.
Band U2: U is the 21st letter in the alphabet added to the number two gives you 23.
Kurt Cobain was born in 1967 and died in 1994. Both years add up to 23 if counted as individual digits: 1+9+6+7=23. 1+9+9+4=23. (He’s also part of the ’27 club’.)
William Shakespeare was born and died on April 23. His first folio of plays came in 1623. Wife Anne died in 1623. Two 23s equals 46 and that’s how old Shakespeare was when the KJV was published. Grab a King James Version of the Bible and turn to Psalm 46. Count 46 words and you arrive at the word ‘shake’. Turn to the end of the chapter and count 46 words backwards and the word you end on is ‘spear’.
Psalm 23, also known as the Shepherd Psalm, is possibly the most quoted and best known Psalm. Psalms is also the 23rd book in the Douay–Rheims Bible.
In Islam, the Qur’an was revealed in a total of 23 years to Muhammad. Muslims believe the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad, on the 23rd night of the 9th Islamic month.

Brand and the Dalai Lama: it’s supposed to be very funny because both think they’re the same, each other, in a real sense.
Yet it costs something like $2,000 and otherwise seems very much a scam. It seems to be a very strange cult, similar to but less extreme than scientology (which might actually be a troll), with very strange views. Like the illuminati, it has to be a troll for now.

The illuminati does seem to be coming out more and more lately; for one example, Ke$ha’s recent song Die Young is about as explicit as a music video can be. ‘Evil’ even shows up within twenty seconds.
9/11 –> symbolic sacrifice. Everyone did it to everyone, and, to be frank, it’s not as though 3,000 human deaths is much at all compared to universal eternal animal dukkha. 9/11 should imply they have very, very good evidence for oneness (string theory must be part of it), and Imagine couldn’t be realized in the first place without good evidence.
